PunchClock is an AI-powered classroom engagement tool built for K-12 teachers who want a quick, reliable pulse on student understanding every single day. At the start and end of each class, students "Punch In" and "Punch Out" by answering a short, teacher-authored prompt tied to that day's learning objective. The app captures each response in real time and uses AI to assess whether a student's understanding is strong, developing, or in need of support, so teachers can act on that insight the moment class ends rather than waiting until the next quiz.

The platform is designed for classroom teachers and the students they serve. Teachers create class sections, build daily entry and exit tickets, manage rosters, and review live completion reports and confidence trends from a single dashboard. Students sign in with their school email, see only the tickets assigned to their class, and respond with text or audio during the window their teacher sets. Built-in school calendar and bell-schedule support keeps tickets aligned to the real rhythm of the school day, while role-based access keeps teacher tools private and student data visible only to the student and their teacher.

PunchClock is built and maintained by an independent educator-developer, with a focus on keeping classroom workflow simple, secure, and respectful of student privacy. Every response is stored privately, audio responses are served through authorized access only, and credit-consuming AI features run behind admin-gated backend functions so the classroom experience stays predictable and safe.
